Take It Easy On Me, Google

Small business owners who own websites might be heard calling this out every single day. “Please Google – let my site win in the rankings, let my ads show to relevant audiences!” It is almost as if you need to pray more, and offer some sacrificial lambs in order to depend on anything happening for you online.

But never fear, the vendors you need are here. There are now a whole slew of new professionals who do nothing more than understand these new marketing vehicles so you don’t have to. You can find help in ppc management, ad development, and all other forms of online advertising. You can bring in professional ideas for less than you might think.

The key is to use the vendor you need to match the service you need performed. Some will be all in one shops where they help you guide everything from a single console, a single driver’s seat. There are benefits and hurdles with this approach, but the main ones would be on the plus side it is going to be cheaper to roll more services under one provider, and on the minus side, you may lack in diversity and expertise when you have one company handle everything for you – no one is that well rounded.

Google may not care at all what happens to you, but your vendor should care a great deal. If you find that your vendor is surrendering to Google or Pandas or whatever else might be daunting, it is time to start looking for new vendors. You won’t need to go far!
